Indian Springs Trace Fossil Site
The Indian Springs Trace Fossil area operated by the Thorson Family has been designated a National Natural Landmark. This trace fossil site features tracks of creatures that lived in mud flats or tidal lagoons 420 million years ago.
The site is a Registered National Natural Landmark for fossils and tours can be arranged by contacting the Thorson Family at 719-372-3907.
